Rather heavy topics, where lots of consultants can make science of and are making big money with. If you ask me it's all about answering 2 questions:

• what do we want to achieve with our organization and
• what are the decision making principles we use to achieve this target.

In the following series of articles I'll try to separate the 'main subjects' from the 'minor details' when it comes to business and IT strategy and policies. I will not be exhaustive on this subject. I only mention the subjects from the last 20 years of practical experience in this field.
